The APICS Appalachian Chapter is offering a CPIM module this winter; Master Planning of Resources beginning Thursday, January 26th.  The description for the module can be found below and on our chapter website.

  

Master Planning of Resources

Explore and be able to apply the principles of demand management, sales and operations planning, master scheduling, and distribution planning, and to identify conditions that require action. This module evaluates knowledge of both supply and demand planning for mid- to long-term independent demand.

Topics include:

·                     Recognizing all demands for goods and services to support the marketplace

·                     Bringing together all the plans for the business

·                     Disaggregating the production plan into an executable schedule

·                     Planning the distribution network and replenishment

 

Course Dates: Thursdays, January 26th thru March 15th, 2012 (8 Weeks)

Time: 5:45 PM to 8:30 PM Thursday evenings

About Special Education Prices

Remember, the Appalachian Chapter is offering full-time students and chapter members re-taking the course a discounted rate of $125.00 for CPIM courses based on seating availability.  As an audit student, this cost does not include a participant workbook. 6 up PowerPoint slide copies will be provided.  This will assist in acquiring points for re-certification and an excellent review for testing. CSCP Review Course

Too date 20% of our CPIM membership has achieved CSCP certification.  Each of these individual has accomplished this through self-study utilizing the system described below.  If you’re interested in pursuing CSCP, our chapter will be happy to guide you through the learning process whether you use a self study or on line training process.
