Commodity Buyer

 

Huf NA develops and manufactures door handles, keys and locking systems for the automotive industry. Huf NA has grown from the tradition of a family business to become a leading partner in the industry with locations worldwide. We are looking for a Commodity Buyer at our facility in Greeneville, TN. This position will research, develop and maintain a supplier base for the purchase of parts, raw materials, and subcontracted parts. This position will have the responsibility for negotiation of terms and conditions.

 

Requirements:

• Four years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, with automotive industry experience preferred.

• Previous international buying experience.

• Working knowledge of one of the following commodities: plastics, rubber, or fabricated metal

• Strong PC skills, with working knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint and database management

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred

• CPM certification helpful
